PeerTalk
Looking to network at re:Invent? Use PeerTalk to view recommended connections based on similar interests, chat with one another, and organize 1:1 and 1:many meetings at an AWS PeerTalk Lounge. Or, sign up for one of the many small group meetups designed for you to build your re:Invent community. The platform launches in October and will be accessible through the AWS Events mobile app and in the desktop version.

Restaurant receptions
Attend our restaurant receptions to relax, make meaningful connections, and network with peers and AWS Partners. Restaurant receptions take place in a number of exciting venues across the re:Invent campus, and many feature hosted activities from our sponsors. More information about restaurant receptions at this year’s re:Invent is coming soon.
All Builders Welcome
We hosted four events, five meetup opportunities, and our ABW welcome reception in the All Builders Welcome Lounge to dive deeper into the importance of inclusion, equity, and accessibility in the cloud and to network with builders who are bridging the gap between the current status quo and the future of tech.
AWS Certified
We celebrated all attendees who earned their industry-recognized AWS certification before re:Invent 2022 with special recognition for becoming a part of our AWS Certified community in our AWS Certification lounge.
re:Play party
Our 2022 re:Play party at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds featured a star-studded live music lineup performing across 2 stages, featuring Martin Garrix, Thievery Corporation, Chromeo, and more. Attendees spent the evening enjoying classic re:Play activities including dodgeball and button mash, new activities like the Riot Games human claw and archery tag (think laser tag but with bow and arrows), and the opportunity to dance to the performances on each stage via our silent disco.
re:Invent 5K
Nearly 1,000 attendees registered to join us for the annual re:Invent 5K race, where participants got a good workout, snagged the exclusive race T-shirt, and gave back to a worthy cause. Thanks to our re:Invent community, we donated more than $40,000 to the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, which unites innovative research and compassionate care to prevent and eliminate cancer and infectious disease.
Activations
Attendees were invited to participate in numerous community activations hosted across the entire re:Invent campus. These included a photo wall of impressive poses, a giant slide, a doodle wall where guests could add their company logo or a kind reminder to get more coffee, a ping-pong tournament, live soccer viewings, debates over serious topics such as “Is cereal a soup?,” and viewing our artist gallery that showcased various inspiring digital art pieces, to name just a few.
Give back
Each year at re:Invent, attendees are invited to participate in multiple opportunities to give back. In 2022 with our Hydrate and Help activation hub, we offered ways for attendees to support our partner charity: water to build four piped system tap stands that will bring water to 2,300 people in Kenya. We packed and donated bags containing ready-to-eat meals to support Three Square Food Bank’s BackPack for Kids program. We partnered with the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center for Obliteride to help fuel lifesaving cancer research each time attendees exercised for 5 minutes. By coming together at re:Invent, we are making significant impact in the communities around us. We cannot wait to do it again with you next year.
